Pamela A. Butterley, 78, of Fort Dodge, went to be with the lord on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Fort Dodge Health and Rehab.
A prayer service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday November 13, 2023, at the Chapel of the Peace Mausoleum, Northlawn Cemetery with a graveside service to follow in the cemetery. Laufersweiler Funeral Home is serving the family.
Pamela is survived by her brother, Richard (Linda) Peterson of Ames, sister, Anita Peterson Michael of Fort Dodge, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Pamela is preceded in death by her husband, Bob, parents Lavern and Carol (Halverson) Peterson and brother Lavern Jr. "Pudgie" Peterson.
Pamela Ann was born on July 12, 1945, to Lavern and Carol Peterson in Black River Falls, WI. She was raised and educated in Fort Dodge, graduating from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1964. Pam most recently returned to Fort Dodge after living many joyful years in Florida, only to discover she had terminal cancer. She worked for 20+ years at Duval County Courthouse in Jacksonville, FL. Pam was united in marriage to Bob Butterley and they enjoyed over 20 years of marriage.
