David Trammell, 74, of Fort Dodge Iowa, passed away Tuesday, March 14th, 2023, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM on Friday, March 17th in the chapel of Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will follow in North Lawn Cemetery. A visitation will be Thursday 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

David is survived by his wife Sandra Trammell of Fort Dodge, sons David Trammell Jr. of Clare, Dennis Trammell and Daniel Trammell both of Sac City, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and 6 siblings.

He was preceded in death by his parents Odis and Corrine Trammell, a brother and two sisters.

David Larry Trammell was born on April 10, 1948, in Fort Dodge. He attended schools here. On October 6, 1967, he was united in marriage to Sandra Schwering and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge. He worked for Celotex, later named CertainTeed, for over 45 years until his retirement. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, and playing cribbage. His most cherished time was spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
