JoAnn Marie Hoover, 83, of Fort Dodge died Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Holy Trinity Church with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be Monday 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the church. Laufersweiler Funeral Home is serving the family.

JoAnn is survived by her seven children, Ronald (Jean) Hoover, Ronette (David) McColley, Kenneth Hoover, Kyle Hoover, Dennis Hoover, Devin Hoover and Brenda (Randy) Spencer; 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchild, 1 great-great grandson and sister Mary A. Hoover.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband Vernon, parents Albert and Mary (Tuvell) Husske, siblings Richard, Albert Jr., Marilyn Porter, Patricia Stuhrenberg, and infant sister, Betty Husske.

JoAnn Marie Husske was born June 17, 1938 in Fort Dodge. She is a St. Edmond graduate. Joann and Vernon were married September 25, 1957. Together they owned and operated Flowers By Vernon for many years before retiring in 2009.
