I worked at Fareway for years, and Roger was a favorite customer. Always so chipper in the mornings after his art class at the Blanden. My favorite was when he would speak in French to me while I arranged the produce section. Id give him a puzzled look and he'd say it means Goodmorning Beautiful. Some people leave a lasting impression & Roger was one of them.
I met Roger thru his wife Janet. Both were amazing gracious people. Also knew their son Dan through work. My sympathy to the family. A huge loss. Prayers to your hearts.
As Roger’s first cousin, I have known him all my life. Roger was always pleasant and courteous, just enjoyable to be around. I was always proud of Roger volunteering for the U.S. Marine Corps. Roger was a very good friend to my brother Erwin and sister Sylvia and was responsible for introducing my sister to her future husband. Roger and Jan were such a wonderful couple, always helping with church and community. It was very hard on Roger when his wife Jan passed, but I know they both are merrily dancing with angels in heaven. Our deepest sympathy to Roger’s family. Semper Fi Roger!
I knew your parents many years ago, i went to St.Paul’s School, where Your mom taught school and your family went to church. Such loving people they were.
