Following his education he worked at New COOP, farmed with the Stanek brothers Doug and Jason, F.C. Elevators, and most recently at Decker Truck Line until retiring in 2020 to be with his family. Gus enjoyed being on a farm since he was a little boy. He enjoyed camping, trips to the lakes with the kids, boating and tubing. Gus was an avid hunter, fisherman, and would often be found tinkering on things in his shop. A special thank you to Stanek Brothers, Miller Trucking and Decker Trucking for their support in Gus's life.
