Always enjoyed visiting with JoDene when they would come to Bode. It seemed she never missed our Memoral Day services. She will be missed. My sympathy goes out to her family
Some of my earliest and best memories as a kid where about hanging out at the farm and playing games with grandma. From the time I became a part of the family, around 6 years old, it was immediately apparent to me that she would be one of the wisest, caring and understanding people I would ever know. She always had so much patience and love to give and that will always be a part of me and how I live my life.
I've known the Rongved family from childhood. JoDene's mother, Hanna, and my mother, Bernie Bjordal, were best friends. They always made time to get together for coffee almost daily. Over the last several years, my sister, Janice Voss, and I have reconnected with the nice folks in Bode, IA. JoDene and Don always made it a point to make a run to Bode to see us when we were there.

JoDene was such a lovely lady, a friend & yes a “Sister”. We shared so many wonderful moments especially when we’d get together when all of you & our kids were little. We share our deepest prayers, sympathy & love with all of you. Wish we could be there to hug all of you in person, but know we with you in spirit.
