Eileen E. Fleming, 95, of Fort Dodge passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, October 21, 2019 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and then 10:30 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be at Corpus Christi Church with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday with a Legion of Mary Rosary starting at 2:45 PM and a Vigil beginning at 5:30 PM all at Laufersweiler Funeral Home.
Eileen is survived by her children Deanne Elbert of Mission, TX, Judith Ann (Al) Williamson of Fort Dodge, Barb O'Brien of Fort Dodge, Gregory (Sue) Fleming of Albuquerque, NM, Joseph (Margie) Fleming, Jr. of Fort Dodge, Matthew (Cheryl) Fleming of Fort Dodge, 24 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, 9 great great-grandchildren, her sister Joan Lombard of Fort Dodge, brother Daniel Crouse of CA, and her dog "Precious".
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Loretta (Riordan) Crouse; husband Joseph Fleming, son Terry Fleming and siblings, Katherine Johnson, Leota Moore, Rita Lindner, Ann Mueller, Jean Freund, Herschel Crouse, Garland Crouse and her sons-in-law Pat O'Brien and Harold Elbert.
Eileen Elizabeth Crouse was born February 15, 1924 in Fort Dodge. Eileen attended and graduated from school in Fort Dodge. On May 15, 1942 Eileen was united in marriage to Joseph Fleming at Sacred Heart Church. The couple made their home in Fort Dodge. Eileen worked for 30 years as a Nurse Aid in OB Department for Mercy and Trinity Regional Hospitals, retiring in 1986. Eileen enjoyed the family trips to their cabin at Lost Island Lake and loved to spend time with her family. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, the Legion of Mary and the Rosary Society.
Memorials may be left to family discretion.

So sorry to hear of your mom passing. She was truly a wonderful lady who never missed church on Saturday night. Raised a beautiful family and worked hard. She will be missed by many.
