Marianne Schultz

Marianne R. Schultz, age 61, of Frankfort, Kansas, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018, at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan, Kansas.
Marianne was born on July 30, 1957, at Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Joseph C. and Mary L. (Hay) Brezovan. She married William L. "Bill" Schultz on October 14, 1979 at Friendship Haven Chapel in Fort Dodge, Iowa. On July 21, 2018, Marianne and Bill returned to Friendship Haven Chapel to renew their wedding vows.
From the beginning Bill loved the dimples the came to her face when she smiled. Marianne was also everyone's rock. Especially when she and granddaughter Erika leaned on each other during their times battling cancer.
Marianne loved to work on her family tree and when she did her books would be spread all over the table and floor. Marianne and a cousin traveled to Pennsylvania to research on her father's side. She loved their dogs very much, especially Sassy who got to go everywhere they went. That little girl was spoiled. Marianne and Bill loved visiting Branson, Missouri, with and without their sons Josh and Tony. They took trips to Colorado many times. She enjoyed visiting the zoos and historical sites along the way. Marianne and Bill loved camping with her sister Linda and brother-in-law Tom. There are many more memories that bring a smile to the faces of those who knew her. She will be missed and loved.
Survivors include her husband Bill, her two sons; Tony Schultz of Waterville, Kansas, and Josh (Salena) Schultz of Frankfort, Kansas, and a brother, Joe (Mary) Brezovan of Otho, Iowa, a sister Linda Rowe of Fort Dodge, Iowa, seven grandchildren, and mother-in-law, Deloris Schultz.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Funeral services are at 11:00 a.m. TODAY, October 9, 2018, at Terry-Christie Funeral Home in Waterville. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
A second funeral service will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, October 12, 2018, at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm, Thursday, at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Burial is at North Lawn Cemetery, Fort Dodge, Iowa.
Memorials are suggested to Cancer Connections for Kansas and may be sent in care of the funeral home at PO Box 61, Waterville, Kansas 66548.

I first met Marianne a few years ago, our connection was genealogy. We both loved the hunt. She was able to add a lot to my collection. I will miss her. Susan M. Olson
