William "Bill" Cote

William "Bill" Cote, 70, of Fort Dodge passed away Monday, July 28, 2025 at Grandview Care Center in Dayton.

Memorial services will be held on (Please note the date) Saturday, August 9th at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

Bill is survived by his siblings, Sharon Eckerman of West Des Moines, Kim Cote of Fort Dodge and Julie Becker of Fort Dodge, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Bonnie (Halmas) Cote and sister, Mary Bourne.

William Joseph Cote was born June 16, 1955 in Fort Dodge. He was raised and educated in the Boxholm area and graduated from Grand Community High School in 1974. While Bill was young, he worked for ten years for various carnival companies. He then worked for Midwest Industry in Ida Grove as well as various construction jobs. Bill retired from Hog Slat, Inc. in Humboldt. Bill was a longtime friend of Dr. Bob and Bill W.
