William Bahr

Callender - William C. Bahr Jr.,75, passed away Monday, December 15, 2025, at his home.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2026 (Please Note the date) from Noon to 4:00 PM at the Callender Community Centre in Callender. Laufersweiler Palmer & Sons Funeral Home of Gowrie is serving the family.

Bill is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Bahr; sons, Jason (Tracy) Bahr of Cannon Falls, MN, Kenneth (Kristi) Bahr of Van Meter, Geoffrey (Ronda) Bahr of Hardy; grandchildren, Sam, Lily, Emersyn, Hudson, Montana, Mason, Memphis, Tytan; brother, Steve (Linda) Bahr of Roseburg, OR; and nephews, Chris and Bryan.

Bill is preceded in death by his son, Keith, parents, Carl and Doris (Miller) Bahr, and brother, David Bahr.

William Carl Bahr Jr. was born on January 20, 1950, in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended and graduated from Cherry Creek High School in Englewood, Colorado. Bill married Jacqueline Juzaitis on November 27, 1971, in Denver, Colorado. They raised their family in Aurora, Colorado, moving to the Callender area in 1991. Bill owned and operated his Sonoma Tire business in Fort Dodge, as well as working for the Fort Dodge and Rockwell City Correctional Facilities from 1993 until retirement in 2010. Bill enjoyed gardening, doing activities with his grandchildren, and all things sports.
