Sue Anderson

Susan "Sue" Rae Anderson, 74 of Fort Dodge passed away Friday, March 20, 2026 at Fort Dodge Health and Rehab.

A Celebration of Life will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2026 at Laufersweiler Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4:00 p.m.

Sue is survived by her son Brandon Anderson and his wife Jeri of Bosworth, MO, daughter Rhiannon Hankel and her husband Justin, grandson Carston Cook all of Fort Dodge, sisters Linda Flockhart and Chris Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Lydia (Burkholder) Hendrickson, grandson Christian, siblings Barbara Weimer and Wayne Hendrickson.

Susan Rea Hendrickson was born February 18, 1952, in Fort Dodge. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1971. On May 21, 1977, she was united in marriage to Rick Anderson. The couple later divorced. Sue was a longtime employee for Expo Health Care, Careage, and now Fort Dodge Health and Rehab. Sue loved animals especially dogs, cats, and her ferrets. She was an avid gardener and liked great weather and long drives.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
