Steven Michael Doyle was born December 6, 1956 in South Dakota. He is a graduate of Saint Edmond High School. After high school, Steve worked for Bush Hog and Webster City Service Center. In 1986, Steve was united in marriage to Teresa Rasch. The couple spent time in New York before establishing their home in Fort Dodge. The couple later divorced but always remained friends raising their kids, sharing celebrations, and loving their grandchildren. Steve worked for Rasch Construction for a period of time and then worked for the City of Fort Dodge until his retirement. He was a past Barnum Fire Chief and a member of Knights of Columbus.
Papa Steve had a rough exterior and at times a grumpy disposition. But it all went away when he cracked a joke and laughed with a smile from ear to ear. His pride and joy was his family. Family first, no matter what. He was a dad to those that needed one or needed a second one. Steve gave earnest advice that was from his heart and meant to make you a better person. He was looked up to by far more "sons" and "daughters" than he ever realized. He will be forever missed.
In lieu of plants and flowers, the family would like to honor Steve’s love for the outdoors and conservation by planting trees in his memory.
