Sheila Rae Anderson

Sheila R. Anderson, 79, of Vincent, passed away Saturday June 27, 2026, at Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday July 2, 2026, at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Newark Cemetery in Vincent. There will be a visitation from noon until the time of service at the funeral home on Thursday.

Sheila is survived by her son, Tim Anderson, daughter, Angie Anderson; grandson, Caleb Weimer (Suzanne Nelson) and his children Bentley and Jase, granddaughter, Catie (Pat) Newland and their children Kinsley and Wyatt, and brother, Curt Strom.

Sheila is preceded in death by her husband, Michael, parents, Palmer and Ermadell (Hintch) Strom, and sisters, Ardis Strom and Tracy Olson.

Sheila Rae Strom was born on February 22, 1947, in Fort Dodge. She was raised and educated here graduating from Fort Dodge Senior High. On August 20, 1965, she was united in marriage to Michael Anderson, and the couple made their home on a farm near Vincent. Sheila enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially having coffee at Brownies. She also enjoyed playing Yahtzee and crocheting.
