Ronnie F. Lemon, 85, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. A Celebration of Ronnie's life will be held at a later date. Laufersweiler Funeral Home is serving the family. Survivors include his wife of 63 years Nancy Lemon of Fort Dodge, daughter Jaci Frank of Fort Dodge, grandsons Benjamin Lemon of Badger and Nicholas (Jessica Moore) Lemon of Badger, granddaughter Danielle Frank of Austin, TX, great grandchildren Jaxon Johnn-Guy Lemon and Myrah Nicole Lemon, sister Sharon Bahr of Bel Aire, KS, and sister-in-law Janice Lemon of Fairmont, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Helen (Rasmussen) Lemon, son Jeffrey G. Lemon, brother Gary Lemon, and brother-in-law David Bahr. Ronnie Franklin Lemon was born on May 20, 1937, in Webster City, IA. He was raised and educated there and graduated from Webster City High School. On April 26, 1958, he was united in marriage to Nancy Stoner and the couple established their home in Webster City for 2 years before moving to Fort Dodge. Ronnie worked as the parts manager at VANS which later became Levien Chevrolet here in Fort Dodge. In 1979 he went to work as a semitruck driver for Van Diest Supply Company for over 20 years and then First Fleet Trucking for 5 years until he retired. Ronnie enjoyed snowmobiling, his motorhome, camping and fishing. Every year the family would take a vacation together. The most important thing was his family whom he worked hard for and loved very much. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
