Ron G. Vincent, 78, of Barnum, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Good Sam in Manson.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 17, 2026 (PLEASE NOTE THE DATE), at Laufersweiler Funeral Home with military rites by the US Army and VFW Post 1856. There will be a visitation from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Ron is survived by his children, Jennifer (Tim) Geist of Riverside, CA, grandchildren, Shenoah (Mitchell) McDonald, Justin (Samantha) McDonald, great grandchildren, Rylee, Avery, Chase, Bryson, Hallie, Kacey, Harlan, sisters, Judy Webb, Donna (Bob) Mortensen, Nancy Gigot of, and Terrie (James) Denton.
Ron is preceded in death by his wife, Pamela, mother, Dell Moser, father, R.G. Vincent, grandson, Collin Geist, and sister, Barbara Andrew.
Ronald Glen Vincent was born on May 18, 1947, in Bowling Green, KY. As a young teen he moved to Denver, CO, with his family. In 1965, he graduated from Mapleton High School, Thornton, CO. He attended Colorado State University and Oklahoma Baptist University before being inducted into the United States Army in January 1969, Americal Division. He served in Combat Infantry in Vietnam, at Chu Lai until his honorable discharge in October 1970. In 1976, Ron moved to Fort Dodge and managed the Thunderbird Carwash. In 1979, he purchased the Thunderbird Carwash and renamed it Ron's Carwash and Lube & Oil Center. He owned the carwash for 3 decades. During his retirement, Ron dove the bus for Manson Northwest Webster Elementary School. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and Vietnam Veteran Association.
