Roger Hanson

Roger Hanson, 67, of Duncombe passed away Monday, March 9, 2026 at his home.

Private family services are planned with Laufersweiler Funeral Home.

Roger is survived by his brother Johnie Hanson of Illinois, sister Marlene Hanson of Fort Dodge, sister-in-law Janice Hanson of Duncombe, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Johnie and Mary Pauline (McGuire) Hanson, brother Kenneth, and a niece.

Roger C. Hanson was born May 27, 1958. He was raised in Duncombe and graduated from Webster City High School in 1976. Roger was a mechanic and always had a wrench in his hand to help out his neighbor, family, and friends. A practicing Catholic, Roger was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church, Duncombe and later Holy Trinity Church, Webster County.
