Robert Hagan

Robert J. Hagan, 87, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.

His wishes were to be cremated and to not have a funeral or burial.

Survivors include longtime companion Sandra Junkman, daughters Tracy Hedeen, Robin (Ed) Crimmins, Heather King, Misty (Jason) Auten, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.

Robert Joseph Hagan was born on June 21, 1938 in Iowa City, Iowa to Joseph and Margaret (West) Hagan. He was raised and educated in Stanhope, graduating from Stanhope High School. For several years Bob was a semitruck driver until he retired. He then went to work at Friendship Haven and was the transportation assistant to the residents for many years. On September of 1998 he met Sandra Junkman and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge. Bob had a wonderful sense of humor that served him well throughout his life. He enjoyed playing golf, playing cards, gambling, and time spent with his beloved cats.
