Ravaé Wheat

Ravaé Wheat, 32, of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 17, 2026 in the chapel of Laufersweiler Funeral Home. A visitation will begin an hour prior to the service.

Ravaé is survived by her sons, Messiah and Jeremiah; her mother, Carolyn Wheat; sisters, Simone Wheat and Jalexus Crooks; brother, Robert Jackson, Jr., nephews, Savion Wheat and Nasir Wheat; aunts, Linda McDonald and Alice Wheat; special friend, Mohomad Conde; and a host of cousins whom she grew up with so they were more like siblings!

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Jackson; brother, Jaime Jackson, aunts, Danibelle Wheat, Martha Wheat, Lillian Wheat, and Charyl Colvin-Wheat; her uncle, Woodrow Wheat; and cousins, Nicholas Wheat, Cia Thornton, Wade Wheat, and Michele Williams.

Ravaé Monet Wheat was born December 17, 1993 in Fort Dodge. She attended Fort Dodge schools and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. She worked at Menards in Fort Dodge and Casey's in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed listening to music, braiding hair, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
