Randall "Randy" Lynn Wingert

Randy L. Wingert, 72, of Fort Dodge, passed away Friday August 7, 2026, at Grandview Care Center in Dayton.

PLEASE NOTE THE DATE - A Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 15th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home.

Randy is survived by his significant other, Teri Miller, children, Andrea (Joe) Farhat of Fort Dodge, Kyle (Jessica) Estlund of Bettendorf, Joy (Ray) Wright of West Des Moines, grandchildren, Ashton Hanson of Florida, Dylan Estlund of Bettendorf, Rylie Estlund of Bettendorf, Van Estlund of Bettendorf, Kyndall Estlund of Bettendorf, Spencer Wright of West Des Moines, Nick Wright of West Des Moines, and brother, Kevin Wingert of Fort Dodge.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Donna Rae (Latham) Wingert, sister-in-law Sarah Wingert, and his grandparents Roy and Velma Latham.

Randall Lynn Wingert was born on January 10, 1954, in Fort Dodge. He was raised and educated in Fort Dodge, graduating from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1972. Randy was employed with various places including Rich Patterson Rich's DX, Ameri Cold, Spartan Mechanical, Hotsy of Humboldt, Hawkeye Trailers H.L.T. in Humboldt as a fabricator. He was a big Harley Davidson fan, loving to ride his motorcycle as often as he could. Randy also enjoyed camping and time spent with his family and friends. Randy was a longtime friend of Dr. Bob and Bill W.
