Rockwell City - Paul D. Kutz, 77 passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2025 at his home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Friday, August 8, 2025. Inurnment will follow lunch and will be in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will begin at 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM Friday at the church.
Paul is survived by his wife, Rose Kutz of Rockwell City; Children, Teri Barlow of Alta, IA, Tina (Adam) Haeder of Bellevue, NE, Adam (Angie) Kutz of Storm Lake, and Alex (Shelli) Kutz of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Ashton Barlow, Landon Barlow, Hudson Barlow, Arin Haeder, Ethan (Bri) Haeder, Stanley Haeder, Stefon Haeder, Ashley Neumann, Andrew Kutz, Tyler Kutz, Kody (Kali) Kutz, Moriah Kutz, Sadie Kutz, and Nico Kutz; siblings, Kathy Van Horn of Cameron, MO and Tom Kutz of Holt, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Patricia (Lampe) Kutz and daughter, Tammie Kutz-Segebart.
Paul David Kutz was born November 20, 1947 in Fort Dodge. He was raised in the Rockwell City/Jolley area and graduated from Rockwell City High School in 1966. On August 29, 1970, he was united in marriage to Rose Hammen in Pomeroy. The couple lived in Lytton and Lohrville before making Rockwell City their home in 1975. Paul farmed for a number of years and then worked for Webb Feed Store from 1975 to 2007. In 2007, he became an EMT/Paramedic for Calhoun County EMS. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and the Jaycee's as well as having served on the Rockwell City Council.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to Unity Point Hospice or Calhoun County EMS.
