Nettie Mae Hiner Camp, born on March 5, 1964, peacefully passed away on October 13, 2024. She leaves behind her brother Curt Hiner to cherish her memory.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 7th, at the Church of Christ in Rockwell City. The visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church in Rockwell City.
Survivors include her sons Erikson Lathrop of Augusta, GA, Jeremy Hiner and Kyle Camp both of Phoenix, AZ, brother Curtis Hiner of Rockwell City, sisters Rebecca Mohr of Lake City, Lois Cooper of Johnston, IA, Theresa (Doug) Barger of Woodward, IA, Aunt Karen Burns of Anita, IA, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, special friend David Bruce of Phoenix, AZ.
She was preceded by her parents Frank and Connie (Coogle) Hiner, sister Dorothy Heilman.
Nettie Mae Hiner was born on March 5, 1964, in Lake City. She was raised and educated in Rockwell City where she graduated from Rockwell City High School in 1982. Nettie was a homemaker and loved to care for her family. She loved doing word searches, coloring, the color purple and visiting with her family especially her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Nettie was known for her kind heart and gentle spirit. She brought warmth and joy to those around her with her infectious smile and caring nature. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In this time of mourning, let us remember Nettie for the love she shared and the light she brought into the lives of those she touched. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
