Joyce Didio

Mary "Joyce" Didio, 86, of Duncombe, passed away, Monday August 24, 2026, at the Marian Home.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2026, at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. A visitation will be 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Joyce is survived by her children, Pam McFarland of Boone, Diane (Joe) Geis of Duncombe, Dana (Craig) Graham of Webster City, 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, brothers Tom (Igbal) Lennon, John (Beth) Lennon both of Fort Dodge, sisters-in-law Christy Lennon and Janet Lennon both of Fort Dodge, brothers-in-law Terry Lee of Fort Dodge and Steve Early of Milford.

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Darwin, parents, twin sister Mary "Jean" Early, sisters Kelly Krug, Laurie Lee, brothers Jim and Bill Lennon.

Mary Joyce Lennon was born on September 7, 1939, to Gene and Monica (Fritz) Lennon in Fort Dodge. She was raised and educated in Fort Dodge, graduating from St. Edmond Catholic School. She then attended Fort Dodge Community College for a year. On July 6, 1962, she was united in marriage to Darwin Didio, and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge. They later moved to an acreage near Duncombe. Joyce worked for M and S Office Products for over 40 years. In her free time Joyce went to auctions to find antiques and treasures. She was a creative person that enjoyed sewing, painting, and crafting. Joyce was an animal lover especially fond of horses and her beloved dog Molly.
