Marjorie "Marge" Hepp

Marjorie "Marge" Hepp, 91, of Rockwell City passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025 at the Good Samaritan Society, Manson.

A Memorial service will be 10:30 AM Monday, July 7, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rockwell City. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. A visitation will begin at 9:00 AM prior to the service at the church.

Marge is survived by her children, Allyn (Pixie) Hepp of Rockwell City, Robert Hepp of Cromwell, Brian (Sue) Hepp of Buffalo, MN, and Nancy (Larry) Nourse of Fontanelle; 9 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; and sisters, Linda Osterhaut and Mary Hein.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Lester and Nellie (Wall) Yeazel; husbands, Allyn B. Olson and Ronald O. Hepp; granddaughter, Jenny Hepp; daughter-in-law, Lori Hepp; siblings, Dale Yeazel, Betty Courter, and Jerry Yeazel.

Marjorie Jean Yeazel was born July 6, 1933 in Logan Township, Calhoun County, Iowa. She was baptized April 17, 1938 at Jolley Methodist Church and confirmed June 26, 1955 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rockwell City. She graduated from Lytton High School in 1951. Marge was united in marriage to Allyn B. Olson on December 23, 1951. He passed away while serving his country in the Air Force in December of 1952. On May 14, 1955 she was united in marriage to Ronald O. Hepp at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Ronald passed away 3 months ago. Marge and Ronald farmed in Logan Township until September of 1991 when they moved to Rockwell City. She worked for the Soil Conservation Office and then IPS for 25 years before retiring in 1992. She then worked part time for Calhoun County Farm Bureau. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She sang in the choir, held several church offices, was on the Mobile Meal Site Board and the Calhoun County Museum Board. Marge will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
