Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bill (Tina) Brundige of Beloit, WI, Laurie (Darrel) Lagerstrom of Fort Dodge, Rob (Lori) Brundige of Byron, MN, and Jeff (Kim) Brundige of Badger; grandchildren, Corey, Barb, Jessie, Brian, Jordan, Josh, Sara, Tom, Daniel, Matt, and Shaina; many great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and brothers, Robert (Lois) Gregerson of Kansas City, MO and Arnold Gregerson of Fort Dodge.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life for the past 27 years, Vernon Halder, who passed only 13 days ago; her parents, Irvin and Goldie (Anderson) Gregerson; great-grandsons, Liam and Javier; brother, Verlyn Gregerson; and sisters-in-law, Gloria and Ruth Ann.
Loretta Lorene Gregerson was born December 1, 1938 at home in Lehigh, Iowa. She graduated from Lehigh High School. In 1959, she was united in marriage to Harold Brundige. The couple later divorced. Loretta worked various jobs throughout her life and retired from WalMart after working in the fabric department for 18 years. In her free time, she could be found watching and feeding the birds; orioles and hummingbirds were two of her favorites. She enjoyed traveling and the occasional trip to the casino. She loved to sew and never missed a game when the Iowa Hawkeye basketball was on TV. Above all else, she was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren. She wanted the world to know any cares or troubles that were to be had, could all be dismissed with “Whatever”.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at The Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.
Memorials may be left to family discretion.
