Laura J. (Foy) Vanderwel, 50, of Fort Dodge passed away Friday, December 29, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Sioux City.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday January 8, 2024 in the chapel of Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery.
She is survived by her mother, Emma Foy; children, Shawntae Blunk-Foy of Denison, Iesha Foy of Sioux City, and Shamar Foy of Fort Dodge; ex-husband Steve Vanderwel; several sisters and brothers.
She was preceded in death by her father Edker B. Williams; sisters, Brenda Foy, Shaila Foy, Michelle Wheat; brother, Arthur Foy; several aunts and uncles; most recently her aunt, Maggie Lee Norman.
Memorials may be left to family discretion.
