Kari L. Lieser, 67, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at her home.
A Visitation Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, February 1st from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home.
Survivors includer her husband David of Fort Dodge, son Jamie (Angie) Reiter of Moorland, daughter Jennifer Bloom of Fort Dodge, grandchildren Brooke, Lacey, Marissa, Ayda, Jazlynn, Ariana, great grandchildren, Brogan and M.J., several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded by her parents Delbert and Virginia (Fox) Koester, brothers Dave and Bruce Koester, and her sister Barb Swan.
Kari Louise Koester was born on August 10, 1956, in Webster City. She was raised and educated there and graduated from Webster City High School. She worked at Shoppers Supply and later at Menards for several years. Kari enjoyed surfing the web on her computer, and digital coloring. The most important thing in her life was her family that she loved very much. Kari adored all animals, especially her dog. On June 28, 1995, she was united in marriage to David Lieser and the couple made their home in Fort Dodge, then Okoboji for several years before returning to Fort Dodge. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
