John Henry Jeanblanc

John H Jeanblanc, 72, of Badger, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026, at the Marian Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday July 10, 2026, at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery near Moorland. There will be a visitation Thursday July 9, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
John is survived by his wife, Renee, sons, Matthew (DeLesa) of Spirit Lake, Adam (Page) of Cathlamet, WA, grandchildren, Faith and Henry Jeanblanc of Spirt Lake, siblings, Mary (Paul) Higdon of Maple Grove, MN, Joan (Jerry) Bunzey of Scottsdale, AZ, Jean (Randy) Reavis of Grinnell, and Annette (Jon) Utterback of Ankeny, sisters-in-law, Carolyn Hinds of Fort Dodge, Karen Reedholm of Boxholm, brother-in-law, Dean Hill of Fort Dodge, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Beatrice (Schoellen) Jeanblanc, father-in-law, Lawrence Bunda, mother-in-law, Elinor Bunda, and sister-in-law, Donna Hill.
John Henry Jeanblanc was born on June 29, 1954, in Fort Dodge. He attended schools in Eagle Grove, graduating in 1972. Following high school, John worked for Umthun Trucking in Eagle Grove and currently Decker Trucking in Fort Dodge. In 1986, John was united in marriage to Renee Bunda and has since lived in Badger. John enjoyed doing things outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and canoeing. There were annual trips to the lakes in Minnesota with his sisters and lots of rides on his motorcycle with Renee. John also enjoyed spending time with his family, watching his children and grandchildren grow up.
