John Breeden

John Breeden, 92, of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025 at the Marian Home.

John's wishes were to be cremated and he will be buried privately at North Lawn Cemetery. Laufersweiler Funeral Home is serving the family.

John is survived by his children Sherri (LeRoy) Lacina, John Breeden Jr. both of Fort Dodge, 6 grandchildren, and brother Robert Breeden of Gowrie.

He was preceded in death by his wife Karma, parents, siblings James, David, Edward, Daniel, Donald, Darlene Marsh, Donna Deal, and Madelene Rank.

John was born August 7, 1932. He was raised and educated in Fort Dodge. On May 13, 1950, John was united in marriage to Karma Brown and the couple made Fort Dodge their home. John worked construction in his early adulthood and made it into a career. He owned and operated Breeden Construction, retiring in 2000. John loved fishing and camping but he especially loved his family.
