John Binger

John Edward Binger, 66, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Sunday, December 14th, 2025 at his home.

No services are planned at this time. John's wishes were to be cremated.

Laufersweiler Funeral Home is serving the family.

Survivors include his sons Kyle Binger and Michael Binger both of Fort Dodge, and his brother Frank (Cheryl) Binger of Livermore.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Joyce (Jenn) Binger, wife Kim Binger in 2023, son Josh Binger in 2023, and his sisters Lori Petersen and Michelle Dornath.

John Edward Binger was born on March 12, 1959, in Fort Dodge, IA. He was raised and educated in Humboldt. He excelled at football and graduated from Humboldt High School in 1977. In 1979, he was united in marriage to Kim Barker and the couple made their home in Denver, CO. There John worked in residential construction for many years. He was an avid Denver Broncos, Denver Nuggets, Colorado University and Iowa State University. John would often be found spending his spare time working on his 1971 El Camino and time with his model railroads. John will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
