John Aden, 59, of Fort Dodge passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be held Thursday, August 3, at 11:00 A.M, First Baptist Church, Fort Dodge, Iowa, located at: 28 N. 10th St. (515) 573-3517 . John is survived by his children, Jonathan Aden, Camp Pendleton, California; Charlene Handsaker-Lonsdale, Stuart, Iowa; Kori Stufflebeam-Lawson, Perry, Iowa; and step children, Felicia Cummings-Crouch, Carroll, Iowa; and Robert (Bobby) Cooper of Des Moines, Iowa; and sister, Rebecca Files-Shima (Randy) of Goodyear, AZ. John was preceded in death by his parents Annis (Heesch) Sego (Ft. Dodge, Iowa); Dale D. Pigman (Lehigh, Iowa); and sister, Julie Renee Glienke-Lyons of Queens, New York. John was born September 9, 1957. He was raised and educated in Manson, Iowa. John worked various jobs, working as a millwright, welder, and maintenance/handyman as of late. John recently attended college at Iowa Central Community in Ft. Dodge and was earning an HVAC degree. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, welding, cooking and taxidermy.
