Georgia Knudson

Georgia Knudson, 100, of Badger passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Fort Dodge Health and Rehab.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, February 13, 2026 at Badger Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery, Fort Dodge. A visitation will begin at 9:30 AM Friday prior to the service at the church.

Georgia is survived by her children, Lenny (Mary) Knudson of Badger, Denny (Willie) Knudson of Yuma, AZ; grandchildren, Scott Knudson and Kristin Knudson of Yuma, AZ, Lonnie (Elizabeth) Wright of Wichita, KS, Ron (Connie) Bethany of New Hampton, and Xavier Wagner of France; great-grandchildren, Megan, Chase, and Shane, Leopold, Theophile, Arthur, Makenna; many other nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Myrtle (Gordon (McLuckie), husband, Leonard Knudson, and 8 siblings.

Georgia Rose McLuckie was born October 12, 1925 in Fort Dodge. She was raised and educated at country schools and graduated from Fort Dodge High School. On May 22, 1943 she was united in marriage to Leonard Knudson. The couple farmed in the Badger and Duncombe area for 15 years. Georgia also worked for Globe Union and the glove factory before managing Angler's Bay Resort at Spirit Lake from 1985-1993. She loved cooking and baking. You would never miss roast and potatoes with carrots and onions on Sunday night or a good pan of brownies, but you had better eat them up fast or her sweet tooth would eat them every time.
