Eugene Blair Wyatt

Eugene (Gene) Wyatt 75 died peacefully on Saturday January 20, 2024, at the Dayton Grandview Care Center.

Gene was born in Fort Dodge in 1948 to Eugene and Jennie Wyatt. He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1968.He was employed with Fletcher Wood Products from 1969 to 2006.

Gene loved a good game of bowling and had received many blue ribbons and badges from Special Olympics for his excellent scores. One of his other passions was to work on cars for those who would bring their vehicle to him in need of a repair. Gene had friends from all over town with whom you might have seen him at one time or another giving a hello and smile to or stopping to chat.

Gene is survived by his brother Ronald Wyatt, sister Terri Wyatt, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Eugene Blair Wyatt Sr. and Jennie Shelen (Benegas) Wyatt, and sister Rose Foote.

A celebration of life will be held at Grandview Care Center in Dayton, Iowa 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2024.
