Eric Espinoza

Eric Espinoza, 55, of Fort Dodge, passed away Monday, July 6, 2026, at Van Diest Medical Center.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Eric is survived by his children, Austin (Savana) Espinoza, Andrew Espinoza, Alex Espinoza, grandson, Kellin Espinoza, father, David Espinoza, long time friend of the family, Tammy Lentsch, brothers, David Espinoza and Scott Espinoza, sisters, Angel Heaverlo, Kris Koresland, Kim Hunefeld, Holly Espinoza, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Eric is preceded in death by his mother, Roxanne Chavez, grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Eric Lee Espinoza was born on May 10, 1971, in Fort Dodge. He was raised and educated in Fort Dodge. Eric worked for various places in the area including Van Diest, Kwik Star and Walmart. He also owned a few businesses, lawn care and a t-shirt shop called A&E Custom Prints. He was a family man, loving father and hard worker. He would put all of his attention on his many projects to make sure they were just right. Eric was very witty and funny, always having a joke to tell. He loved collecting coins, knives and swords and spending time outside with family and friends.
