Elena Fairman

Elena Fairman, 73, of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Accura Healthcare of Pomeroy.

A visitation will be Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until noon at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Webster County Fairgrounds, east auditorium.

Elena is survived by her sons Robert (Rachell) Fairman, Jesse Spidle, Forest Spidle all of Fort Dodge, daughter Tammy (Mark) Rizzo, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, siblings Jim Loux, John Loux, David Stansberry, Marcy Powell, nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Phyllis (Reyna) Stansberry, son Jason Ruffridge, brother Buzz (Joan) Stansberry, and sister Karla Stansberry.

Elena was born March 27, 1952, in Des Moines. She was raised and educated in Walnut and Clarion. Elena loved the outdoors and drawing.
