Edna Echelberger

Edna J. Echelberger, 79, of Fort Dodge, passed away surrounded by her family at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.

Graveside services will be held on Monday June 15th at 10:00 am at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include her sister Charlotte Schmelzer of Neosho, MO, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins, and her beloved dog Snowball.

She was preceded by her parents Weldon and Clara (Cook) Echelberger, daughter Judy Echelberger, and her brother Jimmy (James) Echelberger.

Edna J. Echelberger was born on September 2, 1946 in Fort Dodge. She was raised here and attended schools here. Edna was a lifelong homemaker. She enjoyed Life Works activities, JaMar's and KFC chicken, and smoked meat by Channing. Edna liked to go thrifting and shop at garage sales.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
