Donna J Trueblood

Donna J. Trueblood, 90, passed away Monday, June 15, 2026, at Grandview Care Center, Dayton.

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2026 at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. A visitation will be one hour prior at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at North Lawn Cemetery.

Donna is survived by her sons Jeff (Carol) Trueblood of Arroyo Grande, CA, Steven (Lori) Trueblood of Fort Dodge, five grandchildren Elliot Jay, Blaine Adria, Fletcher Colby, Rebecca Jean, Brandon Roy, one great-grandchild Isabella Mae, and brother Roy Gunderson of Missouri.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Bessie (Fisher) Gunderson, husband Donald in 2011, sisters Bernice Barber and Delores Allen.

Donna Jean Gunderson was born July 22, 1935, in Fort Dodge. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. In 1957, she was united in marriage to Donald Trueblood and the couple made Fort Dodge their home. Donna worked from Frontier Telephone Company for 40 years.
