Donna Michalski

Donna M. Michalski, 87, of Fort Dodge passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Friendship Haven.

Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2025 at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. A visitation will follow until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at a later date at Fulton Township Cemetery.

Donna is survived by her children Mark Michalski of Fort Dodge, Shelly (Wayne) Mason of Fort Dodge, Matt (Sherry) Michalski of Dayton and Mary Jo (Jeff) Roach of Otho, twelve grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Michalski, infant daughter Jody, parents Louis and Violet (Spirek) DeFoe, sister Karen Taylor, brother Dale DeFoe, and daughter-in-law, Deb Michalski.

Donna Marie DeFoe was born September 27, 1938, in Fort Dodge. She was raised in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1956. On May 27, 1957, she was united in marriage to Joseph Michalski at Sacred Heart. Donna was a loving homemaker that enjoyed baking, gardening, and Sunday suppers, especially with her grandchildren.
