Dennis Passow

February 25, 1951 — February 16, 2024

Dennis J. Passow, 72, of Euless, Texas, formerly of Clare, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, at the Fonda Specialty Care Center following a brief battle with cancer.


A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 21st from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the springtime at St. James Cemetery, Clare.


Survivors include his siblings Steve (Dodi) Passow of Fort Worth, TX, Tim “Swede” (Maetha) Passow of Shell Knob, MO, Mike “Chico” (Jackie Nelson) Passow of Fort Dodge, J.R. (Barb) Passow of Clare, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.


He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Corinne (Youngquist) Passow and his sister Pam Passow in 2019.


Dennis Jay Passow was born on February 25, 1951, in Fort Dodge. He attended schools here and graduated from St. Edmond High School in 1969. Following his education, he served in the U.S. Marines for 2 years and then the U.S. Army for 4 years serving during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge he moved to Euless, TX, where he established his home. Dennis worked at a car dealership for several years. He was an avid NASCAR Racing fan.
