Delbert Homewood

Rockwell City- Delbert A. Homewood, 68, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at his home.

Delbert is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Homewood of Rockwell City and her children, Lilliann, Lucas, Luna, and Lola all of Rockwell City and brothers, Richard Homewood of Creston and Marvin Homewood of TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mardell (Kuehl) Homewood.

Delbert Alan Homewood was born May 2, 1957 in Rockwell City. He attended area schools and graduated from Rockwell City High School. He then went on to attend college in Texas and obtained his electrical degree. Delbert worked as an electrician and moved back to Rockwell City after his father passed in 2015. He was an avid gun and knife collector and enjoyed hunting. He could always be found tinkering with anything he could get his hands on. Delbert enjoyed playing cards with his neighbors and took every opportunity to be outside. He was an amazing dad and grandpa.
