David Steburg

David E. Steburg, 52, of Fort Dodge passed away Monday, May 26, 2025, at Iowa Lutheran Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2025 at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. A time for friends to visit with Dave's family will be 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Dave is survived by his children Grant, Garrett, Avery, Seth, Mallory, significant other Abby Michalski, his father Don Steburg, his siblings Don Jr. (Megan), Stacy, Janese "Jen", stepsisters Julie, Jody, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Vicki (Lara) Steburg and stepmother, Vicky Steburg in 2020.

David Edward Steburg, known by many as "Paco" was born December 7, 1972 in Fort Dodge. He attended schools in Fort Dodge. He first started working for Ayala Roofing, then Jensen Builders, and later HTH. He then began his career as a millwright for Precision (PMSI). Paco had an open-door policy. Whether you were family or friends that became family, Dave welcomed you into his home. He was athletic when he was younger and an avid sports fan, especially cheering for the Raiders and the Iowa Hawks and Michigan Wolverines. He was laid back and loved his dogs, Willow, Knuckles, Maya, and JJ.
