Coralie "Corkie" Tracey, 73, of Fort Dodge passed away Friday, September 11, 2026, surrounded by her family in Boone.
A visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Friday at Laufersweiler Funeral Home with a vigil service at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Coralie is survived by her children Angie (Scott) Kelley of Boone, Josh Tracey (Cristin Frankel) of Fort Dodge, Fran Duncan (Tom Hugley) of Boone, grandkids Samantha (Ryan), Carter (Peyton), Chloe (Carter), Sayer (Anabel), Spener, Pepper, three great-grandchildren Andres, Evelyn, Ireina, and a brother Johnny (Les) Malloy.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Edna (Smerdon) Malloy, husband David in 2024, son Chad in January 2026, sisters Nancy Malloy, Beth Kinseth, and Donni Mitchell.
Coralie Malloy was born April 14, 1953, in Fort Dodge. She attended schools in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1971. On April 8, 1972, Coralie married David Tracey at Sacred Heart Church. The couple made their home and raised their family in Fort Dodge Coralie worked for the United States Postal Service as a rural route mail carrier for over 30 years and in the loan decisioning department at the Credit Union. She and Dave loved to fish together and take their kids camping throughout their childhood. Later in life, Coralie enjoyed crafting with her grandchildren, gardening, and birdwatching. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and volunteered her creative skills to the Angel Ride to Save the Ta-Tas for many years.
