Cadyn Ogden

Cadyn O. Ogden, 15, of Rockwell City, gained his angel wings on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

A prayer service will be 7:00 PM Friday, September 19, 2025 in the gymnasium of South Central Calhoun Middle School in Rockwell City. A visitation will be 4:00 PM Friday until the time of the prayer service at the middle school. A graveside service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Manson.

Cadyn is survived by his mother and stepfather Crissy and Jason Marcoux of Rockwell City; father, Cory Ogden of Osage; sisters, Allison of Rockwell City and Lilly of Osage; grandparents, Anita Schuttler of Rockwell City and Tony McFarland of Rockwell City, Angie Ogden of Osage and step-grandpa, Tim Hoyt of Rockwell City; many aunts, uncles, other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Louis Oscar and Betty Schuttler.

Cadyn Oscar Ogden was born December 28, 2009 in Mason City. He attended area schools and was a sophomore at South Central Calhoun High School. Cadyn was a hustler. He was a hardworking kid who loved making money. He worked for Justin Rohlfing and Kyle and Nikki Timmerman, helping out with swine chores and even had his own lawn mowing business. Cadyn was a great role model. He was dependable and respectful to everyone. He was a kind soul with a sense of humor that lit up every room he entered. He enjoyed fishing and eventually wanted to get his CDL and haul livestock. Cadyn was a Titan football player, but loved his time spent on the wrestling mat even more. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorials may be left to family discretion at the funeral home or sent to the family home at 140 Butler Street, Rockwell City, Iowa 50579.
