Brian Mcluckie

Brian Jo McLuckie, 56, of Duncombe died Friday, March 15, 2024.

A Celebration of Life will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday March 29, 2024 at Rides Banquet Center. Laufersweiler Funeral Home is serving the family.

Brian is survived by his wife Sheri, children Nicole (Aaron) Lessmeier of Fort Dodge, Dalton McLuckie (Amanda) both of Fort Dodge, grandchildren Riley, Maci, and Easton Lessmeier, and Averi McLuckie. He also survived by his sisters Tammie Morain of Duncombe, Brenda Barber of Coalville, Amy Jones of Duncombe, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Llyod McLuckie, mother Barbara Jones and step-dad Dennis.

Brian was born August 15, 1967, in Fort Dodge. He attended schools in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior Highschool. In 1990, he married Sheri Cartee and they made Duncombe their home. Brian worked for many years for USG and for a period of time for Hiway Truck and Trailer. Brian loved being outdoors. He liked gardening, mowing, hunting, fishing, and any project that took him outside. Brian was a family man that valued his time spent with his grandchildren the most.
