Bonnie Passow

Bonnie F. Passow, 94, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at the Marian Home.

Private family graveside services will be held at a later date at St. James Cemetery, Clare. Laufersweiler Funeral Home is serving the family.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Jay Passow of Fair Oaks, CA, Joe (Linda) Passow of Duncombe, and Dale (Melinda) Passow of Elkland, MO, Marianne Roberts of Omaha, NE, Debbie (Tim Lunn) Papouchis of Mason City, and Sherry Dencklau of Vincent; 29 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, sister Linda Seehusen of Vincent, and several nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Dale F. Passow in 2005, parents Jess and Edith (Harris) Lewis, children Paul H. Passow, Mark J. Passow, Robert J. Passow, Cynthia D. Hiller, Denise Passow, son-in-law, Ronnie Dencklau, granddaughter Stacey Passow, and brothers Jim Lewis, Dale Lewis, Jess Lewis, and her sister Dorothy Winters.

Bonnie Fae Lewis was born on May 12, 1931 in Fort Dodge, IA. She was raised and educated in Fort Dodge. On June 16, 1949 Bonnie was united in marriage to Dale Passow at Holy Rosary Church in Fort Dodge. The couple farmed and established their home in Clare until 1967. Bonnie worked in the restaurant business for many years - including Trelors, Pancake Feast, Colonial Inn, and then retired in 2002 from Community Pizza. Bonnie enjoyed and loved being able to help care for her grandchildren over the years. She was longtime member of Holy Trinity Church.
