Betty J. Kelleher, 98, of Fort Dodge, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Marian Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday February 1, 2024, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday January 31, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home with a Catholic Daughters of America Rosary at 3:45 PM.
Betty is survived by her daughters Connie Driscoll of Fort Dodge and Mary Chris (Art) Kelleher-Olsen of Green Bay WI; sons, Kevin Kelleher of Salem, SC, Timothy (Deb) Kelleher of Fort Dodge, Stephen Kelleher of Fort Dodge, Thomas Kelleher of Duluth, MN, and Robert (Linda) Kelleher of Superior, WI; 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Leo, parents, Steve and Mary (Sheker) Quealy, brother Robert Quealy, and her daughter-in-law, Janice Bozeman-Kelleher.
Betty Jean Quealy was born on July 10, 1925, in Fort Dodge. She attended Sacred Heart School, graduating in 1943. After high school she attended Clarke College and worked at International Harvestor from 1944 to 1946. On September 5, 1946, Betty was united in marriage to Leo Kelleher at Sacred Heart Church. She was later employed with JCPenney from 1966 until her retirement in October of 1988. Betty was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ladies Guild, a Charter member of Monican Mothers, a member of Democratic Women, and Catholic Daughters of America.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
