Betty Crimmins

Betty J. Crimmins, 99, of Fort Dodge passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at her home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Holy Trinity Church. Burial will follow in Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the church.

Betty is survived by her children Ed (Robin) Crimmins, Richard "Dick" Crimmins, Mary Crimmins all of Fort Dodge, seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Wilma (Amo) Cole, husband Earl Crimmins, children Linda Crimmins, Carol Jones, grandchildren Dennis Jones, Tony Ayala, Jr., great-great grandson Liam Matthew Knowls, siblings John, Gene, Agnes, Patricia, Shirley, and Joanne.

Betty Jane Cole was born August 14, 1926, in Fort Dodge. She attended Fort Dodge public schools. On April 15, 1947, she was united in marriage to Earl Crimmins and made their home in Fort Dodge. Betty worked for Kautzky's later known as Lazy Ike's. She then went to work for the Fort Dodge Public School System for a number of years.
