Barbara Gidel

Barbara L. Gidel, 79, of Twin Lakes passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025 at her home.

A private family burial will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2025 followed by a Celebration of Life for the public from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Twin Lakes Bible Camp. Laufersweiler's Palmer-Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City is serving the family.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Steven Gidel; children, Chad (Dana) Gidel, Ryan (Heidi) Gidel, Niki Gidel, and Kari (Andy) Vitzthum; grandchildren, Cole, Bo, Taylor, Bryce (Brant) Hogue, Gabe, Bailey (Alex) Stephenson, Israel, Isaac, Hunter, and Tucker; siblings, Tim (Pam) Petersen, Pam (David) Tudor, and Carla (Mike) Holt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mildred (Hiler) Petersen.
