Ann C. Marino 77, of Fort Dodge, passed away at her home on Friday, July 28, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Holy Trinity Church with Msgr Kevin McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 PM Tuesday at Laufersweiler Funeral Home with a Rosary beginning at 3:30 PM. Ann is survived by her husband Anthony Marino of Fort Dodge, her sister June Harvey of Grimes, her niece Becky Sestina of Clive, and Quinta Restori of Mingo, Iowa. She is preceded in death by her parents Louis and Pauline (Thompson) Becker, her sisters Lois (Frances) Becker and Doris Sterns. Ann Collette Becker was born on September 24th, 1945 in Fort Dodge. She was raised and educated in Fort Dodge graduating from FDSH in 1963. On October 25,1980 she was united in marriage to her beloved husband Anthony Marino at the Holy Rosary Church. Ann worked for the FBI for a number of years in Washington D.C. and in Chicago. She then worked for AMOCO Oil for three years in Des Moines until returning to Fort Dodge. Ann worked for the Telephone Company for 23 years. She also worked for Randalls and ICCC. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church. She enjoyed bowling, Miniature golf, playing BINGO and watching movies. She could be found cheering on the Twins and Cubs in baseball, the Chiefs and Vikings football, and any Iowa or Iowa State basketball game. Memorials may be left to family discretion.
