Alice Rolling

Alice M. Rolling, 95, of Moorland passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025 at the Marian Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 7, 2025 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Moorland. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Good Counsel Cemetery. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Laufersweiler Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Alice Marie Cunningham was born to Rose Theresa Kramer & John Francis Cunningham on January 7, 1930, on the family farm in Bode, Iowa. She attended

St. Joseph Catholic School,St. Joe, Iowa, and graduated in 1948. On February 25,1952 she was united in marriage to James Edward Rolling at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whittemore, Iowa.

Left to mourn are her children Daniel Rolling (Rebecca) of Corwith, IA, DavidRolling (Jean) of Waukesha, WI, Stephen Rolling (Kim) ofRedmond, WA, Marie Tarbox (Jerry) of Davenport, IA, Nicholas Rolling (LuAnn) of Waterville, IA, Paul Rolling(Beth) of Woodinville, WI, Jeffrey Rolling (Valerie) of Malabar, FL and Andrew Rolling of Moorland, 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, sister Roseann Doyle of Milford, sister-in-law Sr. Theresa Rolling, Mount St. Francis of Dubuque, IA, brother-in-law Bernard (Connie) Rolling of Fort Dodge, IA, sister-in-law Maxine Cunningham of Algona, IA, sister-in-law Jeanette Cunningham of Owatonna, MN, sister-in-law Deb Rolling of Bancroft, IA and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James in 2002, siblings Robert Cunningham, Margaret (Margie) Schmalen, Marvin Cunningham, and Mary Lammers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
