Alan J. Fiala

Alan Joseph Fiala, 68 passed away peacfully at home under hospice care Friday, June 3, 2022. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday June 11, 2022, at 1st Congregational UCC Church, 1000 Willson Ave., Webster City. Burial will be at Elkhorn Township Cemetery, Moorland. Visitation will be 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2022, at the church. Palmer Funeral Home is serving the family. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Christy; daughters, Jessica (Bryan) Lomicka, Erin Fiala, and Abby (Marcos) Luevanos; grandchildren, Peyton, Paige, Aspen, Ashton, Jonah, Josiah, Lailah, Lukah, Lieum; great-granddaughter, Ayva; sister, Karen Smit, brother Tim (Kathy) Fiala, sister-in-law, Erin L. Fiala, mother-in- law, Jean Sollie, and sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Brian Wells. Alan was preceded in death by his parents DeWayne and Edna (Croonquist) Fiala; brothers, Paul, Tom, and Steve; special uncle, Bernard Croonquist; and father-in-law, Bud Sollie. Memorials may be to the familys discretion.
